After saying “I do” in Cabo, the couple wanted a second party with family and friends to cap off their destination wedding. This summer evening celebration was all about fun, connection, and dancing the night away under the city lights.

Chelsey and Casey wanted unique couple portraits, and I found the perfect spot on the rooftop to give them unforgettable photos! The panoramic views at 400 North Ervay are beautiful in the early evening, highlighting the city lights of the Dallas skyline. The warm light reflecting off the buildings created such a romantic setting for their wedding portraits!
For their wedding attire, Chelsey chose an elegant gown that perfectly matched the rooftop’s chic vibes. She later swapped it for a short party dress with a dramatic bow and sparkly sneakers for the dance floor! Casey looked sharp in a tan suit, embracing the light, beach-inspired aesthetic that tied the evening to their Cabo wedding.

With a classic white and green color palette setting the tone, 400 North Ervay’s rooftop venue transformed into a stunning celebration space with a modern vibe. Chelsey told me that she resonated with my vibrant photography style, and it was clear that this couple wanted to focus on fun and celebration during their wedding reception! They wanted all of their friends and family to experience the traditional wedding reception elements they may have missed from their destination wedding, so they had a first dance, a cake cutting, and more.
Special Touches & Personalized Wedding Details
From their love for animals (Chelsey is a veterinarian) to their attention to fun details, Chelsey and Casey poured their personalities into every aspect of the night. Guests were welcomed with handwritten napkin notes from Casey, and their cake was inspired by their dogs! The evening was all about fun, with cotton candy from Girls Who Twirl, a Polaroid guestbook station, and glow sticks that lit up the dance floor as the sun set over Dallas.
