Antoinette and Jonathan’s engagement session in Downtown Dallas in front of the Adolphus Hotel was a joyful celebration of their unique personalities and their undeniably playful connection. Their vision for their engagement portraits was twofold: they wanted to highlight their more elegant side while also incorporating a more casual and relaxed vibe. By weaving their personalities and shared interests into every shot, I was able to create a collection of images that felt authentic to who they are as a couple.

Antoinette and Jonathan are the kind of couple you can’t help but smile around. Antoinette’s outgoing and playful spirit complements Jonathan’s quieter laid-back nature, making them a perfect match. Set against the backdrop of the sophisticated Adolphus Hotel, this engagement session highlighted the couple’s complementary personalities through two distinct looks. By combining both of their personal styles, we were able to tell a fuller story of who they are as a couple, capturing their chemistry and the vibrant essence of their relationship.
Elegant Engagement Portraits in Formal Attire
For the first look, their formal attire (Antoinette in a stunning long dress and Jonathan in a teal suit) embodied the classy elegance that Antoinette was looking for. I used posing prompts to help them feel at ease, creating natural, elegant moments that showcased their love while keeping things lighthearted.
Playful Engagement Photos in Baseball Jerseys
For their second look, they opted for something more relaxed and personal: jeans and matching Texas Rangers baseball jerseys. This wardrobe change gave Jonathan a chance to let loose (the Rangers are Jonathan's favorite team!) and brought out Antoinette’s playful side even more. The casual attire allowed us to shift the vibe, incorporating poses that felt fun, spontaneous, and true to their story.
