Hiring an inclusive wedding photographer isn't just about diversity—you deserve a photographer who sees you, celebrates you, and makes you feel safe in every way. As an inclusive Dallas-Fort Worth wedding photographer, I specialize in capturing authentic moments for all kinds of love stories. I believe your photos should reflect not just your love—but the fullness of your identity and experience. Whether you're an LGBTQIA+ couple, you’re honoring cultural wedding traditions, or you simply want to feel like yourself in front of the camera, I’m here to help you feel at ease and beautifully represented.

What makes my approach a little different? I know what it feels like to be misunderstood or boxed in. I’m neurodivergent myself, and in addition to being a photographer I’m also a trained therapist . That means I bring a calming presence and an intuitive sense for connection, comfort, and detail to every photoshoot. I get so much dopamine from weddings—my hyperfocus turns on in the best way, and I’m all in. I use that energy to tune into the nuances of your story, draw out your best moments, and document the emotions that matter most.

Inclusive Wedding Photography Proudly Supporting LGBTQIA+ Couples

As an inclusive wedding photographer, I understand that LGBTQIA+ couples often enter wedding spaces wondering if they’ll be accepted—or just tolerated. I’m not here to “accommodate” queer couples—I’m here to celebrate them. When photographing an LGBTQIA+ wedding or engagement, my top priority is to create an environment where you feel seen, honored, and fully yourselves. My approach is gender-inclusive, identity-affirming, and always guided by empathy and respect.

That starts with listening. I never assume roles or dynamics—whether it’s how you walk down the aisle or who holds the bouquet. Instead, I ask intentional questions and encourage you to lead the way. From engagement sessions to wedding day portraits, I’m there to uplift your story, not direct it into a mold.

Whether it’s an elopement or a big wedding bash, I’m committed to capturing the realness and radiance of LGBTQIA+ love. I’ve had the privilege of documenting gay weddings that were bursting with personality and pride, like Renisha & Gorvanie's intimate elopement at the Dallas Arboretum. The love, laughter, and tenderness between them was electric, and because they felt safe with me, they were able to be completely present. That’s the magic of inclusive photography—creating space for joy and authenticity to flourish, without apology.

Why Cultural Wedding Traditions Deserve an Inclusive Photographer

Your unique cultural wedding traditions are part of your story, and they deserve an inclusive photographer who values and uplifts them. Photographing these moments that you’ve chosen to honor on your wedding day is about more than simply documenting them—it’s about commemorating them with reverence and respect.

I’ve photographed an Indian betrothal ceremony with intricate rituals, a Chinese tea ceremony honoring elders and ancestors, and an Albanian wedding where the dance floor was alive with cultural pride. Each of these moments tells a story of heritage, identity, and connection that deserves to be preserved with care, and I find so much joy in doing so.

Before every wedding, I take time to learn about the traditions I’ll be documenting. Whether it’s asking your planner for a breakdown of the ceremony, researching significance behind certain customs, or just being extra aware of family dynamics, I’m committed to showing up prepared and present. I want you to feel proud of your culture—and confident that I’ll capture it thoughtfully.

Why Does Editing for Skin Tone Matter in Inclusive Photography?

Editing for diverse skin tones isn’t a bonus—it’s a baseline for inclusive photography. I know how important it is that you and your loved ones look natural, radiant, and true to life in your photos. That’s why I’m deeply committed to editing for every complexion. It starts with the way I shoot: I always look for flattering natural light and adjust for shade and reflection. My care continues through the editing process, where I make sure tones are balanced, rich, and real.

Too often, photographers don’t understand how to photograph or edit non-white complexions, leading to washed-out images or unnatural tones. My editing approach is informed, tested, and consistent. Whether you have deep, rich melanin or pale porcelain skin, my goal is always the same: celebrate your beauty with intention and precision.

Wedding Photography Informed by Neurodivergence

As someone with ADHD, I’ve learned to embrace the way my brain works—and I believe it actually makes me a better photographer. I’m super focused during wedding days, and I use that hyperfixation to anticipate moments, notice emotion, and pay attention to small but meaningful details. I also know how to keep things moving calmly and clearly, so you never feel overwhelmed.

Many of my couples have told me I bring a grounding energy to their day—and I believe that comes from my background as a therapist, too. I’m highly attuned to mood shifts, social energy, and sensory overload. That means I can read a room quickly, spot when someone needs a break, and adapt my approach on the fly. Whether you’re feeling anxious about being photographed or navigating a neurodivergent experience of your own, I’ll meet you with understanding, tools, and plenty of reassurance.
